Thee restrictions that have been in place for over 15 months due to the pandemic have been lifted. Beginning this Friday June 11, we will be in Phase 5 of the reopening plan for our State and City.
The following changes are now in place for us.
BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF CASES, WE ARE REQUESTING THAT ALL WEAR MASKS DURING THE EUCHARIST
There is no longer any need to register for Mass. Our capacity
limits have been lifted. It will be good to be able to once again come
together as the Body of Christ for Sunday Mass.
Hand sanitizer will be available for those who would want to sanitize their hands.
The use of masks is a little more complicated. Those who have been
fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks. Those who are
not vaccinated are asked to wear a mask.
We will be returning to the entrance and recessional processions for Mass.
Communion on the hand is still the norm.
I am asking those who have been sanitizing our church after each Mass to continue to do this. It is a small measure that can help us remain safe.
We will continue to live stream our Sunday Masses on our Parish Face Book Page, Our Religious Education Face Book and our You Tube Channel. These are accessible from our web page turibuis.org then click on the tab view live stream.
We can once again begin to have all parish meetings. Please contact the parish office to schedule your meetings. The use of masks is as stated above.
We are planning to have our Parish Festival in August. The Date is Saturday August 28. We will be looking for people to volunteer for set up and clean. More information to come.
Our Bingo will begin on Sunday July 18
