  • rEQUIREMENTS

    Requirements for the Parents:
    A)    The child’s Birth certificate
    B)     Completed Parish Baptismal Registration Form
    C)     Must have the intention to raise the child in the Catholic faith.
    D)    The child must be six years old or younger.  If the child is (7) years old or older, the Archdiocese requires that they be enrolled in Religious Education Classes.
    E)   Must attend a Baptismal Preparation Class.

    Requirements for the Godparents:
    A)    Godparents must be eighteen (18) years or older.
    B)   Godparents have to provide their baptismal certificate.
    C)    If married: Marriage Certificate from the church.
    D)    “Must be Catholic and agrees to help the parents raise the child in the “Catholic Faith” and shows this by being in compliance with church teaching and living it”
    E)     Must attend a Baptismal Preparation Class.

    uRequisitos para los padres:
    A)    Certificado de nacimiento del niño
    B)     Llenar la forma de inscripción de Bautismo en la oficina.
    C)     Debe tener la intención de educar al niño en la fe Católica.
    D)    El niño debe tener 6  años o menos.  Si el niño es 7 años o más, la Arquidiócesis requiere que se matricule en clases de educación religiosa.
    E)     Tiene que asistir a una clase de preparación bautismal.

    Requisitos para los padrinos:
    A)     Los padrinos deben ser mayores de dieciocho (18)  años.
    B)     Los padrinos tiene que presentar su fe de bautizo.
    C)     Si es casado: Acta de matrimonio de la iglesia.
    D)     Deben ser Católicos y que se comprometan a ayudar a los padres a educar al niño en la fe Católica y que demuestren estar en cumplimiento de las enseñanzas de la iglesia y de vivirlas.

    E)      Tienen que asistir a una Clase Pre-Bautismal.
